THOMAS GILL Thomas F. Gill (age 90) of Boulder City, passed away May 3, 2014, at his home in Boulder City. Tom was born March 16, 1924, in Los Angeles, to Richard and Caroline Gill. He had one sibling, his younger sister, Roberta. Tom married Jeanne E Gill in November 1949, and were happily married for 63 years. Tom will be remembered for being a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was the "King of one liners" and had no enemies. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, but retired from Nevada Water and Power. He was also a member of QSAA for some time. We will remember him for his love and dedication to his family, his witty repartee, his giving nature and his hugs. He gave the best hugs. Tom is survived by his sister, Roberta Bleier of Orange, Calif.; and his two children, Peggy Bryant and Michael Gill of Boulder City; five grandchildren, Bryan McBride, Rebekah Jordan, Thomas M. Gill, Lori Gill and Melissa Gill of Boulder City; four great-grandchildren, Connor, Emma, Mikayla and Caiden. Memorial services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday, June 23, at Assembly of God Church, 1100 Adams Blvd., Boulder City. He will be missed but not forgotten.
