JAMES "JIM" SCHWARZER Obituary
JAMES "JIM" SCHWARZER James Douglas "Jim" Schwarzer, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully Sunday, April 15, 2018. He was born May 17, 1935, in Austin, Texas. He is survived by his wife and best friend, of 60 years, Rita; son, James Jr. of Austin, Texas; daughter, Joni Schwarzer of South Dakota; grandson, Cliff, of Austin, Texas; granddaughter, Amanda of Las Vegas; and two great-grandsons in Austin, Texas. He served eight years in the U.S. Navy. After his military service, he became a California contractor when he and Rita opened their own business in southern California which specialized in boilers installation and heaters repair. They moved to Boulder City in 2006 after retiring and Jim loved his home and his life here surrounded by any other family members and friends. He loved serving at the senior center and volunteered at the veterans' home playing his guitar with his music buds for the patients there. Jim and Rita attended Faith Christian Church for nearly 10 years. Service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 28, at Faith Christian Church, 1100 Buchanan Blvd., Boulder City.
