JULIEANNE BELKNAP Julieanne Edith (Mallett) Belknap, 70, followed her Shepherd's call Friday, May 25, 2012, and is now rejoicing with Him. Born in 1941 to Charles and Thelma Mallett in Seattle, she married her high school sweetheart, William Belknap in 1963. Bill and Julie fully enjoyed their life together of nearly 49 years, raising two children, Blake (Larissa) Belknap of Selah, Wash., and Kristin (Kirk) Estes of Boulder City. The Seattle area was their home until moving to Boulder City in 2004. A dedicated and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Julie was known by all as a woman who embodied grace and love. She spent her time serving and encouraging others, exploring God's creation and playing with her five grandchildren, Kennedy, Hannah, Heidi, Austin and Heather. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 9, at Bethany Baptist Church, 210 Whoming St., Boulder City. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Julie's chosen charities Samaritan's Purse or Salvation Army.
