NADINE BOETTCHER Nadine May (Johnson) Boettcher, of Boulder City, passed away June 29, 2017. She was born May 19, 1927, to Gladys and Esler Johnson, in Sacramento, Calif. The proud matriarch of a large family, she was married to the late Jerome Ward Boettcher (2002) of Boulder City. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sons-in-law, Brian Campbell Galbraith and Cranston Jay Smith; one grandchild, Anna Hesse Boettcher; her brother, Esler Hayes Johnson; sister-in-law, Margot Thompson Olson; and many friends and family. She is survived by her eight children, Mary Catherine Boettcher of Boulder City, Blase Ward (Kathleen Hesse) Boettcher of St. Louis, Mo., Teresa (Charles) Dalbec of Wheat Ridge, Colo., Elizabeth Ann Galbraith of Tijeres, N.M., Margaret Barry Smith of Kansas City, Mo., Cecelia Faith (Scott) Sallee of Durango, Colo., Anthony Jerome Boettcher of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Gloria Jean Horne of Colorado Springs. She is also survived by sister-in-law, Caroline Johnson of Sierra Madre, Calif.; and by 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Nadine was a long-time member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Boulder City, and with her husband and daughter, a staunch benefactor of Lend-a-Hand. Burial will be private.
