PARK T. WARD Obituary
PARK T. WARD Park T. (PT) Ward passed away on June 4, 2017. Park was a resident of Boulder City for 41 years. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Helen L. Ward, and her granddaughter and granddaughter's husband, Donna and Lonnie. Park was born in Venice, Calif. on June 15, 1922. He graduated high school and went to work for the Boeing Aircraft Company as a machinist. He then volunteered for service and was accepted into the Army Air Corps pilot program. He piloted large transport aircraft in the Middle East including many trips flying the "Hump" from India to Burma. He flew supplies into the war zone and brought the wounded back. He finished up his career as an Instructor in Fighter Aircraft retiring with the rank of Captain. Park went on to a 29 year career with General Telephone Company of California. After retiring, Park and Helen moved to Boulder City. Park made friends with everyone he came to know. His friends gathered to hold a celebration of life for him on June 15, 2017. He will be missed by all. Park is buried in the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City, Nevada.
