1929 - 2017 Obituary Condolences
RALPH PATTERSON Ralph William Patterson, 88, passed away Feb. 1, 2017. He was born in Los Angeles. He graduated from San Bernardino High School in 1948 and graduated college from San Bernardino Valley College in 1950. He married his sweetheart, Willa, August 1950 and then moved to Big Creek, Calif., where he started his career with the Southern California Edison Co. They later moved to Boulder City, where he worked at Hoover Dam as a hydro control operator until he retired in 1995. He was actively involved with little league, volunteer ambulance driver, DeMolay, Mason's and Toastmasters. After living 50 years in Boulder City, Ralph and Willa made their new home in Payson, Ariz. in 2010. Ralph enjoyed music, playing the guitar and harmonica. He loved to travel, camping, travel on cruises and enjoyed dining with friends and family. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents; and sister. He is survived by his wife, Willa; and four children, daughter, Sallie (Randy) Loman of Payson, sons, Patrick (Cindy) of Roseville, Calif., Dennis (Susan) of Mesa, Ariz., and daughter, Kathleen Clackum of Maryville, Tenn.; eight grandchildren, Nathan, Nichole, Michael, Chris, Kevin, David, Jesse and Brandon; 11 great-grandchildren, with one on the way; and many nieces and nephews. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, at Mt. Cross Lutheran Church, 601 E. State Highway 260, Payson, AZ 85541. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Humane Society of Payson or .
