1930 - 2017 Obituary Condolences
RANDOLPH TAYLOR Randolph Martin "Randy" Taylor, of Boulder City, and formerly of Santa Rosa, Calif., passed away March 18, 2017. He was born Jan. 6, 1930, in Baldwin, Long Island, N.Y., and was a 12 years resident of Boulder City. Randy served in the U.S. Navy as a deck hand on the USS Yarnell during the Korean War, and received the Korean Service Medal with 1 Star, China Service Medal and United National Medal. Randy was an equipment mechanic for the Los Angeles Police Department. Randy drove the First Baptist Church bus for outings for all of the youth kids. He volunteered for the Rose Parade to tow and service the vehicles. Randy is survived by his wife, of 44 years, Geri Marie Taylor; daughters, Lora L. Emon of Highland, Calif., and Tina J. Coats of Lancaster, Calif.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A private service was previously held at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City. Donations may be made to Lend-a-Hand of Boulder City and .
