RICHARD MAXEY Richard Deloss Maxey of Boulder City, passed away May 3, 2019. He was born December 12, 1928, in Glendale, CA, the son of Richard Deloss Maxey and Lucille Maxey. Richard graduated from Glendale high school in California. Following graduation, He enlisted in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was stationed in Germany. He married Lois Collier and they had three children, Robert, David, and Sandi. Richard worked in the elevator industry and loved his job and the people he was affiliated with. Richard is survived by his wife, Barbara Maxey; her children, Lori, Scott, and Ellen; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; Richard's three children, Robert Maxey, David Maxey and Sandi Pregler; Son-in-law, Bruce Pregler; daughter in-law, Florevel Maxey; his grandchildren, Trevor Pregler and Justine Pregler; and his sister, Marlin Snavely. Richard was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend! He will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him. A celebration of life will be at 3 p.m. Sat., May 18, at Boulder City cemetery. Lois & Richard, two of my favorite customers. I cleaned every 2 weeks, Lois always had a tea party set up for the grandchildren, furniture was always rearranged. Lol! I never knew what surprise I would find. It took us 2 months to set up the Christmas Village. Very fond memories, RIP
