1938 - 2019
ANGELA KOBYLUCK Angela "Angie" (Brienza) Kobyluck, 80, a fierce woman, tiny in stature, but mighty and full of life, passed away peacefully Feb. 15, 2019, with her son and his partner, Taylor, by her side. Born on Halloween 1938 in Barberton, OH, Angie was the youngest child in a large Italian family. She married Joe Kobyluck, in 1961, before heading to California several years later. There they started a mobile food truck selling food at Malibu beach and becoming friends with celebrities like Sonny and Cher and Clayton Moore (The Lone Ranger). In 1974, they moved to Boulder City, where Angie started working in the grocery industry at Central Market and later Safeway where she found a community of lifelong friends and was beloved by her customers. Her favorite holiday was Christmas where you could find her showing off her baking talents, making over a dozen different Italian cookies and breads, all so others could enjoy them. She loved her children, her pets, seashell collection, bacon cheeseburgers, wine, having her nails painted bright red and referring to herself as the "Witch of Boulder City" being that she was born on Halloween. The last two years of her life were spent in Oregon near her son, enjoying wine country, trips to the coast, and caring for her dog, Buttons. When asked on her 80th birthday, "What's the secret to making it to 80?" she replied, "Oh, hell if I know." Angie is survived by her son, William Kobyluck (Taylor); daughter, Leslie Brienza (Scott); and former husband, Joe Kobyluck. We part in sadness, though grateful for a wonderful and vibrant Mama. In lieu of flowers, please consider a gift to the Cat Adoption Team in Sherwood, Oregon in her honor.

I just found this and am so sad to just find out. Angie was always my favorite aunt. So full of life and so much fun. All my memories of my youth included her. I am very sorry for your loss. Their family is all together. I'm sure my mom and grandma are happy.
Much love Kathy

Angie was a very lovely lady and a
true shining star when we would see
her at Safeway - always a smile and
happiness she gave to each and also
a wonderful neighbor. Rest in peace
dear one and comfort to your family.

Our Heavenly Father has given us a life span of 70-80 years if we are especially strong. May you celebrate a life well lived and loved by many. May the words of Psalm 90:10,14 bring comfort to the family.
